New Friendships,
Re-imagined
Making genuine connections, redefined

Welcome to
Her Social Edit
Her Social Edit is a warm and welcoming community for women in their 30s and 40s who are looking to build genuine, meaningful friendships.
As life evolves, so do our social circles—and meeting new people isn’t always as easy as it once was. That’s why we’ve created a space where you can show up on your own, feel completely at ease, and connect with like-minded women in a natural way.
Through thoughtfully curated events and relaxed, friendly gatherings across Leicestershire, we make it simple to meet, chat, and form real connections.
Whether you’re looking for new friendships, great conversation, or just a reason to get out and try something new, Her Social Edit is here to help you feel supported, inspired, and connected in this next chapter of life.

About Us
We are Her Social Edit — Two friends from similar backgrounds who live and breathe Leicester.
As life has evolved, we’ve realised our social circles have too. While we still cherish the friendships we have, everyone is on their own path — careers, relationships, families, personal growth — and sometimes that can leave you feeling left out, out of place, or like you’ve simply outgrown the spaces that once felt like home.
We’re no longer in our 20s where nightlife is the default and connection feels effortless. We’re now in our 30s and 40s — a stage of life where we crave something different. Slower moments. More meaningful conversations. Genuine connection. A sense of belonging that isn’t forced.
And yet, when we looked around, we realised there wasn’t much that truly supported this stage of life. We knew we couldn’t be the only ones feeling this way. So we started searching, researching, and exploring what was out there in Leicester. While we found groups and events, nothing quite reflected what we were looking for — something intentional, welcoming, and aligned with where we are now. Many spaces lacked that sense of relatability, and while inclusivity matters deeply to us, we also recognised the importance of creating something that speaks to women navigating this chapter of life.
Because the truth is — women need other women.
To support, to uplift, to laugh with, to grow with.
And we felt that something was missing.
So we created it.
We’re bringing this to you because it’s something deeply personal to us. This isn’t just about building a community for others — it’s about creating a space we need too. A space to support one another through life’s changes, to grow together, and to navigate this chapter side by side.
Because none of us are meant to do life alone.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create welcoming spaces where women can arrive exactly as they are and feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
Whether you come with a friend or on your own, we’re here to make sure it never feels daunting—just warm, relaxed, and easy to settle into.
We want every woman to feel seen, included, and comfortable meeting like-minded people, knowing she doesn’t have to change who she is to belong.
We believe friendship in adulthood shouldn’t feel rare or difficult. Instead, it can be gently nurtured in spaces that feel safe, supportive, and full of warmth.
Our goal is to build a community where showing up alone feels empowering, conversations flow naturally, and new friendships grow in a way that feels genuine, uplifting, and exciting.
A space you’ll truly love being part of.

What Our Attendees Have To Say
I attended the launch event and I’m really glad I went. The event was very well organised, and the hosts made everyone feel comfortable from the start. They helped us break the ice and made it easy to get to know each other.
I really enjoyed the activity and the overall atmosphere. It was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to attending more events in the future.

I recently attended the first Her Social Edit event and it was such a wonderful experience. The painting and brunch was the perfect setup, but the best part was definitely the people.
It was incredibly refreshing to be in a room where everyone shared the same goal: making new friends. We all bonded over how much harder it gets to build social connections as we grow older, which made the environment feel so safe and welcoming. I left with a finished painting and more importantly, some great new connections. If you’re looking for a warm, supportive environment to meet new people and bridge that social gap, I cannot recommend Her Social Edit enough. Very much looking forward to some future events!

Social Walks - I loved that there was no awkwardness, just likeminded women wanting to connect, It was lovely to meet a variety of personalities and I left feeling inspired. I look forward to attending more events.
